Marie’s Terrace

About the Garden:

Marie’s Terrace, designed by the landscape architecture firm of Ron Lutsko who also did the Master Plan for HBG, is purposefully placed next to Sara’s Garden.  Marie and Sara Goosby were very close friends and Marie was actively involved in getting Sara’s Garden installed in 2014.  The two gardens are designed to create interlinked rooms, punctuated with pergolas, seating walls and hedges.  Both are designed to be handicap accessible.  A small native plant garden is included because Marie, an artist and social activist, also appreciated the importance of preserving native plants and worked to help rid our countryside of invasive plant materials.
