Humboldt Botanical Garden History Project

November 2005 – The Lost Coast Brewery Native Plant Garden is taking shape. The hardscapes are not yet constructed but the initial garden beds and pathways have been laid out. The workers and tractor are near the where the Garden Paver Pavilion will be built.  This photo is taken from the main garden road near the culvert over Fault Creek facing south-west. The College of the Redwoods buildings in the background were removed in 2024.

November 2005 – Construction of the Sun Valley Floral Farm Greenhouse is under way. This photograph is taken from the hillslope behind the greenhouse facing east. The wooden crates contain the glass panels that will be the walls and the roof.
