The Humboldt Botanical Gardens Foundation's Board of Directors
Would like to Announce the cancellation of the 2008 Garden Tour & Tea

The HBGF Board of Directors discussed long-term plans and concluded this to be an
important year to return focus, resources and attention to the Humboldt Botanical Garden itself

continuing progress developing core gardens!
The HBGF felt it was time to refresh our tour making it bigger and better for the future.
HBGF’s BOD determined to have smaller, more frequent events

bringing our members together in the Garden.

Please see June/July issue of the Botanical Guardian for

Peter Santino & The Humboldt Botanical Gardens Foundation

Celebrated the Earthwork

"All Happy Now"

Saturday May 31st, 2008

at the Humboldt Botanical Garden

 the 100-Foot Earthwork-Spiral Ziggurat

was a hands-on project, four years in the making by artist/sculptor Peter Santino with help from dedicated family, friends, HBGF Volunteers and supporters. The day was filled with fun, people enjoyed walking barefoot on fresh red fescue grass, chatting with friends, refreshments, drink and the experience of being in a community botanical garden that keeps growing! Visit Santino's site for pictures depicting birth and development of the ziggurat: http://www.santino.tv:80/. Photos of the event to come-visit HBGF's website for future updates.
